Lilli Benner (63) is a 35-year resident of the Pennridge area, where she raised two sons with her husband, and established deep community ties. She is a career In-Home Family Therapist, dedicating herself to working with adolescents and their families in resolving conflicts.
Lilli is a graduate of Upper Perkiomen High School, obtaining her master's in both psychology and education. She grew up in the Upper Perkiomen Valley, the oldest of five sisters, who established a scholarship for high school seniors in honor of their mother.
During her time in Perkasie, Lilli was a Cub Scouts den mother, a member of the local Lutheran Church, and big supporter of our small businesses and community events. She witnessed how Perkasie has changed over time, good and bad.
Lilli is proud of her community, and eager to give back. She has invested her career in working with vulnerable adolescents and their families in resolving conflicts. She is intent on establishing a Youth Aid Pane in cooperation with our schools and local police. She will bring necessary and unique experience to the borough. Having witnessed with an open mind how the town has changed over three decades, she is able to communicate shared concerns over swelling neighborhood traffic, unmitigated flooding, and support for local businesses and town events.
Stephen Nathan (66) is a resident of the Pennridge community for forty years, a retired paralegal experienced with corporate litigation, and an advocate for fair and independent housing. Stephen graduated from Upper Dublin High School, later achieving his bachelor’s degree from Delaware Valley University, where he continues to volunteer as an Alumni Association Member and former Fundraising Committee Chair.
Stephen is determined to bring robust and motivated transparency to the Borough Council. He is deeply aware of local traffic congestion, dangerous flash flooding, and a loss of community character.
One could easily forget Stephen is technically retired, as he is incredibly active in our community, serving as President of the Shadywood Village Residents Council and as Chair of the Bucks County Continuum of Care (CoC) 'Lived Experience Advisory Board' (LEAB). He remains certified through the Main Line Paralegal Institute, often sharing insight and lending expertise wherever relevant. Through it all, Stephen has worked his entire adult life fighting for what is fair.
Most recently, Stephen organized in response to a slew of development projects promising higher road traffic in pedestrian areas. Although approved by Borough authorities, most residents were unaware of the plans and their implications. His attention and advocacy brought community concerns into the conversation, pressuring the developer and council to address pedestrian safety. He also collaborated with our Parks and Recreation department to secure the Perkasie Community Garden, which was being considered for development.
Stephen’s vivacious persistence for accuracy and truth makes him an ideal representative in any organization. He recognizes the importance of Perkasie developing and changing, but it should require the consent of the people living here. The quality of life for our seniors should not be compromised for unaffordable apartments and national franchise chains in shopping centers.
Jaclyn S. Cornelius (35) is a proud Perkasie resident, originally from North Huntingdon, PA, with a background in professional operations and marketing, and extensive experience in the energy industry, with a proven record of bringing efficiency, strategy, and innovation to complex projects.
She holds a Master of Science in Integrated Marketing Communications from West Virginia University and a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Seton Hill University, where she concentrated in Legal Studies and Political Science.
Throughout her career, Jaclyn has combined strategic thinking with hands-on execution to drive results in operational efficiency, brand engagement, and customer-focused solutions.
She believes that a well-supported society is the foundation for economic growth, and she brings this philosophy into every aspect of her professional and community work.
Jaclyn lives with her husband and two young sons, finding joy in family life and local involvement. Outside of work, she’s an avid history enthusiast, book collector, antiquing explorer, and lifelong fan of the Harry Potter series. She also enjoys traveling and discovering stories behind people and places, past and present.
If elected, Jaclyn will bring a collaborative leadership style rooted in intentional listening and practical, solution-focused action. She believes in honoring Perkasie’s traditions while embracing fresh ideas that move us forward with smart development, transparency with the public, and support for small businesses. Above all, Jaclyn is committed to serving our residents with integrity, energy, and a heart for service. Like many young families in our community, she is deeply invested in our town’s future and believes in fostering a safe, welcoming environment.
Emma Hawkins (22) is a lifelong Perkasie resident and recent graduate of Temple University’s Tyler School of Art. Prior to graduating Pennridge High School, she was already taking action and having an impact. As one of the “Pennridge 225”, Emma made national news demonstrating in solidarity with students across the country following the mass shooting at a high school in Parkland, Florida.
She is determined to make these essential elements of our lives more accessible for everyday residents. Participation should be encouraged and easy for all stakeholders, facilitating public buy-in and awareness.
Emma gained experience working for her mother’s local catering business, familiarizing herself with Perkasie’s Main Street community and important local events. She is profoundly motivated by rebuilding public faith in our democratic institutions and participation in civic life. By returning to serve her community, Emma hopes to demonstrate the importance of local government to a younger generation.
She is running to increase the visibility of our elected officials and improve communication between the borough and residents. At her core, Emma believes that participation is essential to making politics “work”. She is determined to demystify local government and rebuild trust with everyday citizens.
Joseph Green (43) is a lifelong Pennridge resident with deep ties to the community and well-positioned to reach a broad bloc of the voting electorate. Joe is experienced with municipal-operated energy, rising from Chief Lineman to Chief Technician for the Borough of Lansdale. He provides future-focused technology and expert electrical service with a family-owned business serving Southeast Pennsylvania.
Joe is seeking to represent the Perkasie community through transparency, fiscal responsibility, and respect for all.
He is familiar with the changing energy economy affecting Pennsylvanians, and the impacts on municipalities. Joe also understands the pressures facing small businesses, being the owner of an electrical services installer, which he operates with his son.
Joe is determined to tackle head-on the community’s priorities. He, like many residents, is fed up with the slow pace and inadequate responses by the incumbent administration. Despite the serious challenges of stormwater flooding, spiking energy costs, and development pressures, the sitting councilmen have fixated on a historic covered bridge they have been unable to restore or relocate after four years. It is past time for fresh voices and new energy in Perkasie Borough!

His education and career in supply chain management provided experience collaborating across diverse teams of individuals. He often balances differing objectives in the pursuit of a common goal, expertise very applicable to the council. Collin strives to learn from every experience, and that maximizing the potential of any opportunity requires both the flexibility to see things from another's perspective, and the determination to carry out any task that needs to be accomplished.
A recent Perkasie homeowner, he understands Perkasie has been a wonderful place to live for generations - and that it needs to be livable. This challenge encompasses many things, from the safety of our streets to the price of our electricity. He is determined to bring the community together to answer tough questions.
